SUMMARY

Gritter Francona, a certified SDVOSB, seeks a Business Process Analyst/Architect to support our VHA client, including business process architecture, business process improvement and re-engineering, architectural documentation, analysis, and facilitation. Additionally, the analyst will ensure delivery of business process architecture services to ensure successful integration of architectural artifacts that yield business impact reports using current client methodologies (BPMN 2.0), tools(Visio) and industry best practices. Location flexible/WFH possible. Federal government experience (employee, contractor or consultant) required.

DUTIES

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Develop As-Is and To-Be business processes and supporting documentation and deliverables
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, opportunities and challenges in existing business processes and guide stakeholder through identification of pain points, development of future state business solutions
  • Apply basic consulting and management skills, including excellent verbal and written communications
  • Collaborate with requirements analysts and information modelers to support client BPR and Requirements efforts
  • Follow Federal and project guidelines and conform to specific style guides for all deliverables
  • Facilitate virtual and in person elicitation and collaboration session with internal and external subject matter experts
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of government consulting or related experience
  • 1+ years of business process modeling and business process improvement experience
  • Experience with the Veterans Administration/Veterans Health Administration
  • Experience in Federal Health IT (DHA, CMS, IHS, etc)
  • Experience in Microsoft Visio
  • Experience in BPMN business process development
  • Experience in Process improvement and Business Process Re-engineering
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and teaming partners; excellent client relationship management skills
  • Ability to facilitate small and large working sessions in person and virtually
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical skills with strong critical thinking
  • Ability to work on multiple activities simultaneously and meet deadlines (project management and time management skills)
  • Experience delivering professional services to the federal government
  • Knowledge of VA and/or DoD logistics and acquisitions systems or business processes a plus
  • Requirements gathering, analysis, and management experience a plus
  • Experience with Rational tools a plus
  • US Citizenship Required; NACI clearance position
